Embodiments of the present invention report compositions and methods for vaccinating a subject against dengue virus. In some embodiments, the vaccine composition can be administered intradermally. In certain embodiments, intradermal introduction of a vaccine into a subject against dengue virus may include one or more intradermal inoculations following the initial vaccination.
