A laser surgical method is disclosed including: providing a laser surgical device including a handpiece including: an optical delivery component that transmits laser energy from a source to a treatment volume and an accelerometer configured to provide information indicative of the position of the handpiece. The method includes using the handpiece to transmit laser energy from the source to a plurality of positions within the treatment volume using the accelerometer, providing information indicative of the position of the handpiece determining information indicative of an amount of energy delivered at each of the plurality of positions within the treatment volume based on the information indicative of the position of the handpiece, and displaying a graphical representation indicative of the amount of energy delivered at each of the plurality of positions within the treatment volume.Linvention concerne un procédé de chirurgie laser qui consiste: à fournir un dispositif chirurgical laser qui comprend une pièce à main comportant: n composant dadministration optique qui transmet lénergie laser dune source vers un volume de traitement et un accéléromètre conçu de manière à fournir des informations indicatives de la positon de la pièce à main. Ce procédé consiste également à utiliser la pièce à main pour transmettre lénergie laser de la source vers plusieurs positions dans le volume de traitement à utiliser laccéléromètre, à fournir des informations indicatives de la positon de la pièce à main à déterminer des informations indicatives dune quantité dénergie administrée à chacune des positions de la pièce à main dans le volume de traitement basé sur les informations indicatives de la position de la pièce à main, et à afficher une représentation graphique indicative de la quantité dénergie administrée à chacune des positions de la pièce à main dans le volume de traitement.
