An article chassis is provided with an absorbent core extending across a crotch region into front and rear waist regions and the absorbent core is formed with a fold guiding zone extending across the front waist region in a direction of a transverse axis. A fastening system includes a first fastening system composed of first fastening elements provided on respective skin-contactable surfaces of a pair of fastening members extending outward in the direction of the transverse axis from lateral edges of the rear waist region and a second fastening system composed of the first fastening elements and a third fastening element formed on the skin-contactable surface of the front waist region.
