A radial illumination system is for projecting a light pattern radially. A light source generates a light output to an optical fiber. A ferrule is provided around the end of the optical fiber, and a reflector is mounted over or in the ferrule or integral with the ferrule, for redirecting the light to form generally radial light. In this way, a simple design with low component count is able to perform the optical alignment and optical reflecting functions.Linvention concerne un système déclairage radial qui est conçu pour projeter un motif lumineux radialement. Une source de lumière génère une sortie de lumière vers une fibre optique. Une virole est disposée autour de lextrémité de la fibre optique, et un réflecteur est monté sur ou dans la virole ou dun seul tenant avec la virole, pour rediriger la lumière pour former une lumière généralement radiale. De cette manière, une conception simple avec un petit nombre déléments est susceptible de réaliser des fonctions dalignement optique et de réflexion optique.
