PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactic acid bacterium capable of suppressing appetite in a normal diet while adjusting the intestinal environment rather than forcibly exercising or restricting a diet. An object of the present invention is to provide a food or drink containing a lactic acid bacterium having a high GLP-1 secretion promoting ability and which can be suitably used for a food or drink and a processed product thereof. SOLUTION: The Lactobacillus paracasei N34 strain (NITE BP-02872) having a high GLP-1 secretion promoting ability is provided. In addition, food and drink containing lactic acid bacteria and processed products thereof are provided.
