The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing perfluorocarbon for reducing side effects of high-frequency thermal cauterization, which is a method for treating a disease through cauterizing a lesion tissue by irradiating the region around the lesion of a subject with a high frequency wave. The pharmaceutical composition can reduce side effects caused by high-frequency waves without reducing the activity of destroying the lesion tissue by high-frequency radiation, and thus can be widely used for the treatment of tumors using high frequency waves.개체의 병변 부위로 고주파를 방사하여 병변 조직을 소작하는 질병을 치료하는 방법에 있어서, 고주파 열소작술의 부작용을 감소시키기 위한 퍼플루오로카본을 포함하는 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상기 약학 조성물은 고주파 방사로 병변 조직을 파괴하는 활성을 경감시키지 않으면서도, 상기 고주파에 의하여 유발되는 부작용을 감소시킬 수 있으므로, 고주파를 사용하는 종양 치료에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
