FIELD: hygiene.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns an extensible dentifrice article and a method with use thereof. Proposed extensible dentifrice comprises: a) backing layer in the form of a film with an elastic-like structure (SELF) having an average thickness of 0.1 mil (2.54 mcm) to 5.0 mil (127 mcm), wherein the film comprises: i. polyethylene of high density in an amount from 50 to 90 % by weight of the film; and ii. linear low density polyethylene in an amount of 10 to 50 % by weight of the film; and b) disposed on the film oral care composition. At that, the oral care composition comprises: i) adhesive polymer in an amount of 50 to 99.9 % by weight of the composition; and ii) active oral care substance in an amount of 0.1 to 50 % by weight of the composition.
