The invention relates to a loose powder made from wax obtained from renewable materials, in which the size of the particules is such that: the D90v is less than 20 microns； the SPAN calculated by the formula (D90-D10)/D50 is lower than 1.8； and the volume percentage of particules having a diameter of at least 30 microns is less than 5%, the wax being selected from fatty acids, fatty acid esters, fatty acid amides, hydrogenated oils and the mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a powder.La présente invention concerne une poudre libre de cire issue de matières renouvelables, dans laquelle les particules sont de granulométrie telle que : - le D90v est inférieur à 20 microns - le SPAN calculé par la formule (D90-D10)/D50 est inférieur à 1,8 - le pourcentage en volume de particules présentant un diamètre d'au moins 30 microns est inférieur à 5%, la cire étant choisie parmi les acides gras, les esters d'acides gras, les amides d'acides gras, les huiles hydrogénées et leurs mélanges. La présente invention a également pour objet un procédé de préparation d'une telle poudre.
