The present invention concerns a method for controlling a fragrance diffuser in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle, said method being characterised in that it comprises the following successive steps: - identifying the predefined level of olfactory intensity of the fragrance to be diffused in the passenger compartment； and - automatically determining one or a plurality of diffusion parameters of said fragrance on the basis of the level of olfactory intensity of said fragrance.La présente invention concerne un procédé de pilotage d'un diffuseur de fragrance dans l'habitacle d'un véhicule automobile, ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte successivement les étapes suivantes : - identification du niveau d'intensité olfactive prédéfini de la fragrance à diffuser dans l'habitacle； et - détermination automatique d'un ou plusieurs paramètres de diffusion de ladite fragrance en fonction du niveau d'intensité olfactive de ladite fragrance.
