The present invention is directed to a reconstituted surfactant comprisinga lipid carrier, a polypeptide analog of the native surfactant protein SP-C,and a polypeptide comprising a sequence of repeated units constituted of a numberof hydrophobic amino acid residues comprised between 3 and 8 and one basic aminoacid residue. The invention is also directed to the pharmaceutical compositionsthereof and to its use for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of RDS and other respiratorydisorders.
