process of encapsulating conidia of entomopathogenic fungi, formulations containing them and their uses. the present invention relates to a process of encapsulating conidia of entomopathogenic fungi beauveria bassiana and metarhizium anisopliae in sodium alginate, where formulations containing capsules containing them were obtained. as an example of the embodiment of the invention, the insect pests of sugarcane crops, diatraea saccharalis and sphenophorus levis were used. parameters such as gains in field stability and storage, reproducibility and efficiency in the control of insect pests were evaluated and proved that the encapsulated conidia were pathogenic to the two investigated pests and showed better stability results compared to the pure conidia.processo de encapsulamento de conídios de fungos entomopatogênicos, formulações contendo os mesmos e seus usos. a presente invenção refere-se a um processo de encapsulamento de conídios dos fungos entomopatogênicos beauveria bassiana e metarhizium anisopliae em alginato de sódio, onde foram obtidas formulações compreendendo cápsulas contendo os mesmos. como exemplo de concretização da invenção foram utilizados os insetos pragas de cultivos de cana-de-açúcar, diatraea saccharalis e sphenophorus levis. parâmetros como ganhos em estabilidade em campo e armazenamento, reprodutibilidade e eficiência no controle dos insetos pragas foram avaliados e comprovaram que os conídios encapsulados foram patogênicos às duas pragas investigadas e apresentaram melhores resultados de estabilidade se comparados ao conídio puro.
