Provided herein are humanized forms of mouse RP215 monoclonal antibody and methods of using the same. These humanized RP215 monoclonal antibodies were characterized by affinity and specificity for their corresponding tumor-associated antigen, CA215, and were shown to be comparable to the affinity and specificity of mouse RP215. In one aspect, the invention relates to a humanized antibody or fragment that binds to CA215 with a specificity and affinity substantially equivalent to that of RP215.
