Provided herein are methods for making and using glycopyrronium salts, including solid forms and forms suitable for use as topical agents. Included herein are methods for making glycopyrronium salts, methods for making compositions that also contain glycopyrronium salts, and salts of glycopyrronium and glycopyrronium. A method of treating hyperhidrosis with a composition comprising, for example, but not limited to, a topical composition, is disclosed.
