The objective of the present invention is to provide a device that can reliably and easily apply a microneedle patch to skin. A pressing member (3) having a tip surface (3a) within a case main body (2) is disposed in a manner so as to be biased in a first direction (X1 direction) by means of a first biasing means. The pressing member (3) is in a locked state by means of the movement in the first direction (X1 direction) being locked by means of a lock member (7) and a locking section (3g). The locked state is released by means of pressing the tip of a lock release member (11) against skin. When the locked state is released, the tip surface (3a) of the pressing member (3) moves in the first direction (X1 direction), causing the microneedle patch to be applied to the skin by means of the tip surface (3a).
