A thermoformable dual network hydrogel composition formed from a cross-linked polymer derived from one or more olefinically unsaturated polymerizable carboxylic monomers and one or more thermoplastic polyurethane compositions is disclosed. The hydrogel exhibits high elastic modulus and Yield Stress at low shear, and a moderate but significant adhesion force.
