PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird damage-preventing device, which can effectively prevent bird damage by raising a pair of fixed support tools in a required section of an aerial line oppositely to each other, laying a bird damage preventing wire therebetween through intermediate support tools, and properly adjusting the tension of the laid bird damage preventing wire, when it is loosened or sagged, to regularly prevent wild birds from staying on the aerial line.SOLUTION: The bird damage-preventing device 1 includes: a pair of fixed support tools 2a, 2b to be mounted in a raised manner in a required section of an aerial line 36 erected between power poles a bird damage preventing wire 3 to be laid between the pair of fixed support tools 2a, 2b in such a manner as to be spaced upward from the aerial line 36 and intermediate support tools 4a, 4b to be freely attached at predetermined intervals along the bird damage preventing wire 3 and the aerial line 36.
