PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective sheath causing an operator to quickly recognize deformation or fall of a stent, thereby capable of contributing to achievement of a quick procedure.SOLUTION: A protective sheath 30 includes: a tube 40 having a storage chamber formed thereon for storing a distal end of a balloon catheter； and a stylet 50 (a core member) for holding the balloon catheter.
