A drinking straw for oral delivery of an active agent comprises (i) a CNS stimulant, and (ii) a B vitamin and is prepared by a) combining the active agent with matrix components in the substantial absence of water and sugar to form a granulation mixture； b) forming pellets from the granulation mixture； and c) drying the pellets and filling the straw with the dried pellets.
