PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of side-by-side display of a Schaukasten area and an image display area, which display apparatus automatically sets the Schaukasten area in an optimal position according to the position of a region of interest specified in a displayed image.SOLUTION: Provided is a display apparatus control device, comprising: acquisition means for acquiring position information of a region of interest specified in a first area which displays a first image determination means for determining, based on the position of the region of interest, a position of a second area which displays a second image and control means for controlling the display apparatus in such a manner as to display the first image in the first area and display the second image in the second area.
