PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for high-quality cultivation of vegetables and fruits, which provides plants with sufficient moisture stress, actualizes a high sucrose concentration, optimally regulates the sunlight environment of a growing period and improves a fruit thinning ratio. SOLUTION: In a cultivation greenhouse, vegetables and fruits are cultivated by using a container that is arranged on a turntable and has a drainage hole at the bottom, plants are provided with sufficient moisture stress by draining before harvesting and fertilized with a sweetener. In artificial pollination, pollens collected from a plurality of stamens of the same species and different varieties are mixed and brought into contact with the whole pistils or fed to pollen tubes.
