PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor capable of making an amount of data of examination images stored in a storage medium in a hospital further smaller than that of a conventional medical image processor.SOLUTION: A medical image processor performing transmission/reception of medical images via a network comprises: a first storage section storing a plurality of medical images associated with a series of identification information； and an image movement processing section moving the plurality of medical images from the first storage section to a second storage section provided on the network when movement conditions coincide with predetermined movement conditions. The image movement processing section leaves medical images corresponding to an amount of data for turning over predetermined images out of the plurality of medical images included in the same series in the first storage section and performs first movement processing moving medical images other than the medical images corresponding to the amount of data for turning over the predetermined images from the first storage section to the second storage section.
