The device has plates (1) or sections (2) constituting a skylight siding with a fixed panel and a movable panel. Carriers (7) sliding around respective strips (8) are adjoined at different height levels of the plates or sections constituting the movable panel. The strips are integrated with the plates or sections constituting the fixed panel. The movable panel is supported by a carriage comprising rollers (10) moving in a rail (9).
