PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a plant having resistance to scab generated in gramineous plants by the infection of Fusarium graminearum producing trichothecene-based fungal toxin.
SOLUTION: The method for producing the scab-resistant plant includes a process, such as RNAi method, antisense method, gene-disrupting method and a co-repressing method, for repressing the expression of a gene encoding a protein participating in sensitivity to the scab and having a specific amino acid sequence, in gramineous plants.
