A dispensing/extruding tool 10, such as a cookie gun, cookie press or chakli maker, for use with a blender appliance which comprises a hand held motor unit 20 and one or more separate wand-like tools for processing foodstuffs. The dispensing/extruding tool 10 comprises an elongate tubular housing 12, attachable to the motor unit 20 instead of a wand-like tool. Said housing 12 contains a piston 14 having attached thereto, at its end remote from the motor unit 20, a closure means 16 perforated by at least one dispensing/extruding aperture 18 of a predetermined shape. The housing 12 also contains piston driving means 30 for picking up drive from the motor unit 20 and driving the piston 14 along the housing 12 toward the closure means 16. The elongate tubular housing 12 may, or may not, be disposed in axial alignment with the motor unit 20
