To provide an artificial hepatic tissue which maintains activity of a hepatic cell, especially, activity of a medicine metabolism, for a long term, and which can be used for new medicine development.SOLUTION: There is provided an artificial hepatic tissue comprising: a cell adhesive hydrogel bed； a hepatic cell inoculated on the cell adhesive hydrogel bed； and a sheet-state cell group including an interstitial cell for covering the hepatic cell.
