METHODS AND ARRANGEMENTS ENABLING REDUCTION OF INFLUENCE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND/OR INFLUENCE DUE TO MENTAL STRESS IN ELECTROCARDIOGRAM-BASED MEASUREMENTS
Method and device (700) for predicting physical activity of an individual based on electrocardiogram. The device (700) receives (601) an electrocardiogram signal originating from the individual. The device (700) identifies (602) a non-cardiac muscle signal in the received electrocardiogram signal. The device (700) then predicts (603) a presence or a level of physical activity of the individual based on the identified non-cardiac muscle signal. The method and device enable, based on the electrocardiogram signal, to conveniently determine and/or distinguish heart rate resulting from physical activity and/or from mental stress.
