Disclosed is a plant grow system (200) comprising of a collapsible metal frame (40) having a plurality self-watering planters (120) mounted on a height-adjustable plurality of support shelves (20).The system (200) is used for growing plants vertically within the plurality of self-watering planters (120) while simultaneously providing attractive display of plants at convenient/user-friendly vertical heights. The system (200) is embedded with arrangements for automatic watering of the plants from below the soil to make available proper amounts of water for optimal plant growth along with good oxygenation of roots. Furthermore, unique vertically cascading design of the system (200) ensures abundant sunlight availability to plants. Thus, the present invention provides the system (200) that is portable, economically cheaper and easily collapsible and re-assembling allowing ease of use, transportation and relocation.
