PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe gauze whose insertion into or removal from human bodies is easy and in which in operation, there are cases where it is difficult to insert a gauze into blooding body positions, or it is left within the body after an operation because it is hardly discovered, and though a gauze or absorbent cotton is used for the disposal of blooding within the mouth of a patient treated by a dentist for the removal of saliva, body fluid, etc., infants, children or old patients have the danger of swallowing them by mistake and getting them clogged in their throats.SOLUTION: The insertion of a gauze becomes easy by sewing and fixing the gauze center wound into a roll with a thread. A thread extending from the roll end is useful to prevent misplacement or swallowing by mistake, or making the gauze taken out of the body easy. Moreover, the use of a high molecular water absorption material allows the gauze to enhance the water absorbability and retentivity.
