A surgical device comprising: a handle assembly 413, an actuation shaft 490, a housing, and a movable handle 420, the movable handle being operably associated with the actuation shaft such that movement of the movable handle effects axial movement of the actuation shaft an actuator assembly 504 including an actuator button 514, a pawl arm 516, and a grasping pawl 518, the pawl arm being slidably received in a recess 520 of the movable handle 420 a biasing member 522 within the recess 520 to urge the pawl arm 516 toward an extended position, the pawl arm having upper and lower cam surfaces a grasping pawl 518 pivotably supported on pawl arm 516 and an actuator button 514 being slidably positioned through a bore 526 in movable handle and having a centered position and an off-center position, the actuator button 514 being slidable between the upper and lower cam surfaces of the pawl arm, wherein when the actuator button 514 is moved to the off-center position, the lower cam surface is engaged by the actuator button 514 to urge the pawl arm from the extended position to the retracted position.
