PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch with a support liner and a method for producing the same. A patch having a support liner, which comprises at least a strip-shaped formulation and a release liner which is longer than the formulation. The support liner comprises a support and an adhesive layer provided on its surface； the formulation has two long sides that are parallel straight lines and two short sides that are elliptical arcs that are convex outward from each other. A quadrilateral formulation with sides； the longest distance between the two short sides is 20.0 mm or more and 50.0 mm or less, and the distance between the two long sides is 5.0 mm or more and 37.5 mm or less. The elliptical arc has an elliptical major axis of 20.0 mm or more and 50.0 mm or less, an elliptical minor axis of 14.8 mm or more and less than 50.0 mm, and an elliptical minor axis of at least 2.0 mm longer than the distance between the two long sides.
