PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device which prevents eyes from being dazzled by an illumination light of an illumination light source when performing observation with an adapter formed with a pattern mounted and when performing observation with the adapter detached, and enables accurate and precise examination to be carried out, and provide an observation device in which focusing of an observation camera is appropriately adjusted so that correct examination can be carried out in performing observation with different focusing conditions with the adapter being attached or detached.SOLUTION: An observation device 10 for observing an eye 40 includes an illumination part 18 for illuminating the cornea 41 of the eye 40, an imaging part 11 for taking an image by the cornea 41 illuminated by the illumination part 18, a pattern projection part 22 attachable to and detachable from the illumination part 18, which irradiates a pattern light onto the surface of the cornea by the illumination part 18 in a state of being attached to the illumination part 18, and a control part 23 for changing at least one of illumination settings for the illumination part 18 and focus settings for the imaging part 11 according to the attachment/detachment of the pattern projection part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】パターンが形成されたアダプタを装着して行う観察及びアダプタを取り外して行う観察を行う際に、照明光源の照明光による眼の眩しさが抑制され、正確で高精度な検査が可能な観察装置を提供する。また、合焦条件の異なる観察をアダプタの着脱を伴って行う際に、観察カメラのフォーカシングを適切に調整され、正しい検査が可能な観察装置を提供する。【解決手段】眼40を観察する観察装置10であって、眼40の角膜41を照明する照明部18と、照明部18によって照明された角膜41による像を撮影する撮影部11と、照明部18に着脱可能であり、照明部18に装着された状態において、照明部18によって角膜の表面にパターン光を照射するパターン投影部22と、パターン投影部22の着脱に応じて、照明部18の照明設定と撮影部11の合焦設定の少なくとも一方を変更する制御部23と、を備える。【選択図】図1
