PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for use in a microwave oven and a method for using the same which are capable of allowing water to run through the entire noodle when cooking instant noodle by the microwave oven, heating raw eggs simultaneously with the noodle, and finishing the egg to excellent eating quality.SOLUTION: The container for use in the microwave oven includes a container body and a lid. An air port and a holding part formed in a cylindrical shape in which a center portion of the lid is elongated downward and an opening is formed at the center are provided on the lid.
