PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which gives a wearer soft touch and is hard to be torn, in the absorbent article in which embossed patterns are formed by compressing a top sheet and an absorber together.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 14； a liquid-impermeable rear surface sheet 12； and an absorber 13 arranged between the top sheet 14 and the rear surface sheet 12. On the side of the top sheet 14, a plurality of compressed columns 22 where a plurality of recesses 21 formed by compressing the top sheet 14 and the absorber 13 extend. The plurality of compressed columns 22 form an intersection area 23 where they cross one another. The recesses 21 comprise first recesses 211 and second recesses 212 more recessed than the first recesses 211. The second recesses 212 are a plurality of grooves extending in the extension direction of the first recesses 211.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
