Provided are glasses on which the position of image data display can be adjusted according to the position of a sound and of which the transparency level can be adjusted according to the volume of the sound, and a control method thereof. The glasses include: a sound input unit which receives a sound from an external environment and recognizes the position of the sound； a sound visualization unit which performs signal processing on the sound, compares the pattern of the sound with pre-stored patterns, and generates image data； and a transparent display on which the image data is displayed in an area matched to the position of the sound and of which the transparency level is adjusted according to the volume of the sound.
