PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter and balloon catheter that, even when an outer layer is pulled in an axial direction (a tip end direction and a rear end direction) and a radial direction (an outer peripheral direction), it is unlikely that the outer layer is peeled from an inner layer.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 includes a first joining part 50 in which a first inner-layer projection part 12 formed by entering an inner layer 10 in a first outer layer 40, and a first outer-layer projection part 42 formed by entering the first outer layer 40 in the inner layer 10 are convoluted with each other near a gap 25 of a reinforcement layer (a coil body) 30, so that a joining area of the first outer layer 40 and the inner layer 10 increases at the gap 25 of the reinforcement layer (the coil body) 30 to as to improve joining strength of the first outer layer 40 and the inner layer 10. Further, even when the first outer layer 40 is pulled in the axial direction (a tip end direction and a rear end direction), with the catheter 1 bent, this configuration can reduce a possibility that the first outer layer 40 is peeled off from the inner layer 10, by an anchor effect that the first joining part 50 is hooked by the reinforcement layer (the coil body) 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、外層が軸方向(先端方向及び後端方向)及び径方向(外周方向)に引っ張られた場合でも、外層が内層から剥離しにくいカテーテル及びバルーンカテーテルを提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】カテーテル1では、補強層(コイル体)30の間隙25において、内層10が第一外層40に食い込んだ第一内層突出部12と、第一外層40が内層10に食い込んだ第一外層突出部42とが、互いに巻き込んだ第一接合部50が設けられているため、補強層(コイル体)30の間隙25における第一外層40と内層10との接合面積が増えて、第一外層40と内層10との接合強度が向上する。また、第一接合部50が補強層(コイル体)30に引っ掛かるアンカー効果により、カテーテル1が湾曲した状態で、第一外層40が軸方向(先端方向及び後端方向)に引っ張られた場合でも、第一外層40が内層10から剥離する恐れを低減することができる。【選択図】図3
