PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat for a surgical instrument ensuring sterilization treatment, maintaining quality satisfactorily and holding the surgical instrument in a manner difficult to fall.SOLUTION: A silicon sheet 2 with silicon 8 integrally formed and arranged on a foundation cloth 7 is sewn to a mat body 1 made of cloth, and the mat body 1 is provided with a folded piece 4 to which the silicon sheet 2 is not sewn. The folded piece 4 is folded onto the silicon sheet 2 side and further folded sequentially in the same direction.
