The present invention relates to a preparation method of vitamin D_2 and, more specifically, to a method for converting ergosterol included in mushroom into vitamin D_2 by using a solvent extraction process and ultraviolet rays. The preparation method of vitamin D_2 in the present invention increases the content of ergocalciferol which is vitamin D_2 by using an extractant and ultraviolet radiation, thereby obtaining vitamin D_2 effectively.
