PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which significantly simplifies processes of wiring work by performing wiring work between each ultrasonic transducer and each connector terminal in a random manner.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is equipped with a transmitting and receiving circuit for supplying drive signals to the ultrasonic transducer and receiving detecting signals outputted from the ultrasonic transducer, a connection selecting switch for switching the connection relation between the ultrasonic transducer and the transmitting and receiving circuit, a housing part for housing connection relation data showing the connection relation between the ultrasonic transducer and the terminal in the ultrasonic probe, and a control part for generating the connection relation data by measuring the receiving timing from the ultrasonic transducer which receives test acoustic wave signals generated from a sound source when the connection relation data are not found in the housing part in connecting the ultrasonic probe to the mainframe of the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】各々の超音波トランスデューサと各々のコネクタの端子との間でランダムに配線作業を行うことにより配線作業工程を大幅に簡素化することができる超音波診断装置を提供する。【解決手段】この超音波診断装置は、駆動信号を超音波トランスデューサに供給し、超音波トランスデューサから出力される検出信号を受信する送受信回路と、超音波トランスデューサと送受信回路との間の接続関係を切り換える接続選択スイッチと、超音波プローブにおける超音波トランスデューサと端子との間の接続関係を表す接続関係データを格納する格納部と、超音波プローブが超音波診断装置本体に接続された際に、接続関係データが格納部に存在しない場合に、音源から発生される試験音波信号を受信する超音波トランスデューサの受信タイミングを計測することにより接続関係データを生成する制御部とを具備する。【選択図】図1
