PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article which can be adapted to differences in sizes due to individual differences of wearers to improve a wearing feeling.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 that is an embodiment of an underpants type absorbent article includes a side seal part 4. The side seal part 4 has a plurality of seal lines 41, 42 which are separated from each other and extend in a vertical direction Y. The outermost seal line 41 located on the outermost side in a lateral direction X out of the plurality of the seal lines 41, 42 has the strongest seal strength.
