PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea drink in which a flower fragrance ingredient, hotrienol, is held at a fixed amount, and to provide a method for producing the tea drink.
SOLUTION: This tea drink contains 10 ppb or more of 3,7-dimethylocta-1,5,7-trien-3-ol (hotrienol) represented by formula (1), 100 to 800 ppm of an ascorbic acid, and 500 ppm or less of a non-polymerized catechin compound. The tea drink contains the extract of Dahongpao (a type of oolong tea), and is thermally sterilized, after prepared, and then charged in a container.
