PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor capable of highly precisely and effectively extracting an area without complicated operation even in the case the area of interest is the area having a complicated shape and having change in concentration values.SOLUTION: A CPU 2 reads medical image data of an object to be processed (step S101), sets an extraction starting area (step S102), sets an extracting condition (step S103), and carries out area extraction from the extraction starting area using an area expanding method according to the extracting condition (step S104). The CPU 2 determines whether or not the overflow of the extraction is generated based on the extraction result of a plurality of generations in a step 109.
