The present invention discloses a substrate antibacterial protection process, which includes the following steps: providing a transparent substrate irradiating the transparent substrate with ultraviolet for modification and cleaning utilizing sol-gel processing to add tetramethoxysilane (TMOS) coupling agent or tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) coupling agent into a transparent and persistent antibacterial agent and stirring coating the silane coupling agent and antibacterial agent after stirring onto a contact surface of transparent substrate and hot-baking to form an antibacterial layer and, coating a nanometer solution containing hydroxyl group onto the contact surface of transparent substrate and hot-baking to form a crosslinking layer to protect the antibacterial layer and provide the effects of wear resistance, scratch resistance, sweat resistance and anti-fingerprint stain.
