PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and an apparatus for filling a container by which the container can be correctly and speedily wound up into a shape of a solid mass or a sphere.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for filling a container, a stretchable cylindrical net N is placed over a cylindrical support 6, and the roller belts 30 are axially moved toward the basal end of the net N while the tip of the net N is forcibly wound radially outward or inward by roller belts 30 disposed in several circumferential areas of the net N. In addition, the tip of the net is wound while forcibly rolled by the rotation and axial movement of the roller belts 30.
