PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which can effectively prevent fluid leakage in a front-back direction of the diaper.SOLUTION: A covering sheet 11a is arranged on a skin abutting surface side in an end area in a longitudinal direction of a diaper 1 in a manner to cover an end edge of an absorbent body 5 in a longitudinal direction and to be overlapped with at least a part of joining parts 63, 64 in a plane view. In the covering sheet 11a, an end area which is positioned on a crotch part side and extends in a width direction Y is in a non-joined state to a skin abutting surface of the absorbent body 5.
