PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phantom capable of changing features easily.SOLUTION: A phantom 100 is used for evaluation of features of an ultrasonic device or photoacoustic device. The phantom comprises: first layers 1 which simulate a first component of a living body portion and second layers 2 which are formed so that the first layers 1 can be detachably attached thereto, and which simulate a second component of the living body portion. A water absorption percentage of the second layers 2 is larger than that of the first layers 1, and the second layers 2 are formed of a hydrophilic nature resin. The first layers 1 are laminated to the second layers 2. The phantom further comprises a third layer 3 which simulates a third component of the living body portion.
