Decontamination devices and methods are provided that include a base and a plurality of light sources that each emit UVC light to reduce the pathogens of the target object. A plurality of adjustable supports couples the light source to the base and a controller is coupled to the base and operably connected to the light source to control the emission of UVC light. A housing is detachably installed on the base to protect a plurality of light sources. A remote control device is provided on the housing. The remote control device includes a user interface that receives input from a user, and transmits a control command to the controller based on the received input, thereby causing the controller to perform a desired operation of the light source.
