The invention relates to a wound care article for extraction and control of woundfluids, having at least a first liquid-absorbing body (1； 10； 36), which is surroundedby a liquid-permeable first sleeve (2), and a liquid-permeable second sleeve(3) composed of two sleeve walls (13.1, 13.2). The wound care article is characterizedin that the first sleeve (2), on at least one of its flat sides (4.1, 4.2), is coveredon top or below by at least one liquid-absorbing material layer (6.1, 6.2； 6.3)which is arranged between the first sleeve (2) and one of the sleeve walls (13.1,13.2) of the second sleeve (3) (Fig. 1a).
