Disclosed is a device for injecting therapeutic or preventative agents into the teat canal of a cow&rsquos udder. The device comprises a cartridge (11) comprising a body, a nozzle (17) and a recess. The body has a cavity (15) for holding at least one product to be dosed. The nozzle is in communication with the cavity and is configured to channel the product to the orifice of an animal. The recess is adapted to receive and provide cover for the nozzle of an identical or similar cartridge. The recess may act as a sealing cap for the nozzle of an adjacent nozzle. The device may include a dispenser gun (19) which is adapted to contain four cartridges, for dosing an animal, wherein three of the nozzles are covered prior to use. Each cartridge may contain a piston, which when acted on by a plunger (47), ejects the product(s). Each cartridge may contain multiple pistons which are arranged to eject multiple products one after the other.
