PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mowing shears, capable of easily performing maintenance work and sufficiently reducing the manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A pair of mowing shears includes: a shears body 2 having cutting parts 11a, 11b journaled by a shaft part 12 and opening and closing the cutting parts 11a, 11b along a first virtual plane orthogonal to the shaft center of the shaft part 12 an operating part 3 having handle parts 21a, 21b journaled by a shaft part 24 and opening and closing the handle parts 21a, 21b along a second virtual plane orthogonal to the shaft center of the shaft part 24 and parallel to the first virtual plane and pipes 31a, 31b disposed along the direction intersecting the first and second virtual planes, with the lower ends thereof fixed to the cutting parts 11a, 11b and with the upper ends fixed to the handle parts 21a, 21b.
