Methods and compositions are provided for enhancing dentin production and for delivering a lipophilic agent to the dental pulp tissue of an individuals teeth. In some cases, the method comprises administering a Wnt stimulatory composition comprising a Wnt stimulant to the dental pulp of an individuals teeth at a dose sufficient to enhance the production of dentin by the pulp. In some cases, the method includes the steps of contacting the exposed dentin of the tooth with a composition comprising a lipophilic agent inserted within the non-aqueous phase of the lipid structure (eg, Which penetrates through the dentin to the underlying dental pulp tissue).
